How it works

Nothing is paid up front
  • We pick up

In a small van or Luton — or you deliver it yourself.

  • We process

Certified off-site data destruction and WEEE recycling.

  • We provide compliance paperwork

Waste Transfer Notes, serialised reporting, and destruction certificates.

  • We calculate the rebate & offset the costs

If the rebate is more than the cost, we send you the difference; if it is less, we invoice the balance.

Pickup, processing, and compliance happen first — then the rebate is offset against the cost.

What could change this

This cost is not paid up front. We pick up and process first, then calculate the rebate for reusable equipment and offset it against the cost — if the rebate is more than the cost, we send you the difference. Rebate value depends on device age, model, condition, and market demand, so we quote it rather than guess.

Frequently Asked Questions

Key details about how the estimate is calculated and how to use it.

How accurate is the estimate?

Each line is built from TFix published rates, so it matches the live pricing on this site. Final quotes can be higher or lower depending on asset mix, site access, and method requirements.

Does the estimate include recovery value?

No. This tool estimates cost only. Reusable equipment can offset part of the cost, but recovered value depends on device age, model, condition, and market demand, so it is quoted separately rather than guessed.

Are my answers stored?

No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is saved or sent to a server.

Why is the total shown as "from"?

WEEE recycling is priced from a per-pallet rate, so when recycling is shown separately the total is a minimum starting point. Collection and data destruction use fixed published rates.

Do I pay up front?

No. TFix picks up and processes your equipment first, provides the legal compliance paperwork, then calculates the rebate for reusable equipment and offsets it against the costs. If the rebate is more than the cost, you receive the difference; if it is less, you are invoiced the balance.

How are van loads calculated?

Van loads are estimated from the size of each asset type and the van you choose. A laptop counts as one unit, a desktop about four, and a server about eight; a small van holds roughly 160 units and a Luton about 400. It is an estimate, and your final quote is confirmed from your actual inventory.
