We created our free ITAD Compliance Checker and Supplier Scorecard to help you review your current position.

The tool is available on our website under Resources > Free ITAD Tools and Calculators. You can use it to assess your own operation or review your current IT disposal supplier. It asks 10 straightforward questions, and the result gives you an indication of where your process is strong and where further checks may be needed.

What does the assessment cover?

The checker looks at the practical areas that support a responsible and compliant ITAD process:

• Duty of care: whether equipment is managed responsibly throughout its journey.
• WEEE documentation and reporting: whether the necessary records are available and complete.
• Vendor accountability: how clearly responsibilities are assigned and monitored.

The result is not a substitute for professional legal advice, but it is a useful starting point for identifying gaps before disposing of further equipment.
