Policy Brief And Purpose
At TFix, sustainability is at the core of our business. We are committed to reducing electronic waste, supporting the circular economy, and helping our clients meet their environmental and social governance objectives. Our goal is to operate responsibly, minimise our environmental footprint, and deliver services that contribute positively to society while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Our Contribution
Since our founding, TFix has prevented tens of thousands of devices from entering landfill by refurbishing and reintroducing them into use. By prioritising reuse through repair, refurbishment, and resale, we ensure that IT assets continue to generate value rather than becoming waste. Where equipment cannot be reused, we ensure it is dismantled responsibly and processed through fully licensed recycling partners, in line with UK and EU WEEE regulations. Our zero-to-landfill commitment ensures that no equipment or material handled by TFix is sent to landfill, with all fractions that cannot be reused directed to specialist downstream recycling channels. Clients benefit from clear and auditable ESG reporting, including data on volumes recycled, devices reused, and estimated CO₂ savings achieved through our processes.
Our Commitment
TFix operates in full compliance with UK and EU WEEE regulations and works only with certified and audited recycling partners. We are committed to expanding our refurbishment and reuse programmes year on year, and to reducing our environmental footprint through operational efficiency and innovation. We promote sustainability awareness among staff, clients, and partners, and seek to embed circular economy principles across all areas of our business.
Roles And Responsibilities
Managerial and supervisory staff are responsible for ensuring that sustainability principles are incorporated into operational planning and day-to-day activities. Employees and subcontractors are expected to co-operate fully in implementing this policy by following established procedures, reducing waste where possible, and supporting TFix’s reuse and recycling programmes. Suppliers and downstream partners are expected to comply with equivalent environmental standards and demonstrate responsible practices.
Continuous Improvement
TFix will regularly review and update its sustainability practices to reflect changes in legislation, industry standards, and client expectations. Lessons learned from operations, audits, and client feedback will be incorporated into procedures to strengthen our sustainability performance. We are committed to continually improving the effectiveness of our environmental and social governance systems and to achieving measurable progress against our sustainability objectives.
Client Assurance
By working with TFix, businesses can be confident that their retired IT assets are managed securely, responsibly, and in a way that supports environmental protection, resource efficiency, and broader social responsibility.
