Policy Brief And Purpose
TFix has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. We are committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and in compliance with the UK Bribery Act 2010. This policy sets out our stance against bribery, outlines prohibited practices, and defines the responsibilities of employees, suppliers, and business partners to ensure our operations remain free from improper influence.
Policy Scope
This policy applies to all employees of TFix, including contractors, consultants, suppliers, and partners acting on our behalf. It covers all forms of bribery and corruption, including facilitation payments and any attempt to improperly influence a business decision. The policy applies to activities in the UK and abroad, across all functions of our business.
Policy Elements
TFix strictly prohibits the following conduct:
- Offering, promising, or giving a bribe in any form.
- Requesting, agreeing to receive, or accepting a bribe.
- Offering or accepting gifts or hospitality intended to improperly influence business decisions.
- Making facilitation payments to secure or speed up routine government action.
- Employees and representatives must act honestly, fairly, and in line with our values at all times.
Responsibilities
All employees are required to comply with this policy and report any suspicions or concerns. Managers are responsible for ensuring their teams are aware of the policy and trained on its requirements. Suppliers, contractors, and business partners must adopt equivalent anti-bribery standards and demonstrate compliance as a condition of working with TFix.
Gifts And Hospitality
TFix recognises that reasonable and proportionate hospitality and business gifts may form part of normal business practice. Such activities are only permitted where they are lawful, transparent, and not intended to influence decision-making. All gifts and hospitality must be recorded and approved in line with internal procedures.
Reporting And Whistleblowing
Employees, contractors, and third parties are encouraged to report any suspicion of bribery or corruption. Reports can be made confidentially to [email protected], and will be investigated thoroughly without fear of retaliation against the reporting party.
Enforcement
Any breach of this policy will be treated seriously and may result in disciplinary action, termination of contracts, and referral to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
Review And Governance
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains compliant with the UK Bribery Act 2010 and aligned with best practice standards. Any changes will be communicated across the business and to relevant third parties.
